Viva Chile Packaging Campaign Aims to Position Country and Enhance its Image Within US

To enhance Chile's image as a competitive brand identity within America and focus on New York City as a gateway to a large market within the country, the "Viva Chile Packaging" campaign was recently launched at the Puro Chile store in New York.

The campaign was created by the Chilean Center of Packaging and Chile Brands and aims to promote the image, culture and virtues of Chile. Olive oils, fruits, wines, piscos, perfumes and canned goods will feature "Viva Chile" logos and facts about Chile.

"The 'Viva Chile Packaging' campaign's goal is to use packaging as a powerful communication vehicle to directly connect with New Yorkers and build a strong, competitive brand identity for Chilean products," said Mariana Soto, general manager of CENEM.

"We feel the best way to establish relationships with US consumers is through our nation's principal ambassadors and its exported products," she added.

The campaign, which will run through March, will include a series of activities throughout New York City. Stores within the city will promote the products and will feature a "route of packaging."
