Spillson's is recalling its Texas BBQ Beef Sandwiches because they contain ingredients that were not declared on the label.
The undeclared ingredients were soy flour and wheat flour. People with an allergy to either of these foods could develop serious or life-threatening reactions if they were to eat the sandwiches.
The Texas BBQ Beef Sandwiches were sold in various convenience stores throughout Monroe, Michigan. The products have expiration dates that range from July 20, 2012, through August 3, 2012.
As of July 20, Spillson updated all of its labels on its new sandwiches to include all the allergens.
Anyone who has purchased any of the recalled items is encouraged to return them to Spillson's for a full refund. There have been no incidences of anyone reporting an illness from the mislabeled products.
