Fresh packaged apple slice brand Crunch Pak is informing consumers of its revamped website and social media marketing strategies with stickers on its packaging.
Weekly, 500,000 of Crunch Pak's 14 ounce bags of sliced apples will feature stickers. Each sticker will push the brand's website redesign or its presence on Facebook and Twitter, according to the website The Packer.
"Social media allows us to connect with our consumers," said Tony Freytag, the brand's national marketing director.
"Having their loyal purchases is one thing, but being able to engage in a dialogue with our most dedicated consumers via social media is a benefit we truly value. We've been active in social media for a while now. There is little to no cost involved and it gives us great results," he added.
By leveraging the Facebook platform, Crunch Pak will test new themes for its commercials. It is asking its Facebook fans to provide feedback on its themes such as "Reach for the natural snack" and "Find your inner slice." Its website redesign includes a blog, a tasting panel and nutritional information, the website Fresh Plaza reported.
